I see the devil is still running free in Bakersfield. It is rather hot there and will remain so with vicious Christian-like attacks on people.
Thank you Bakersfield! Your time to bring together speakers to support letting the Bible speak for itself is appreciated. Thank you for this internet site allowing us to study truth at home. May the Holy Spirit bless your community.
We are now seeing the anti-Christ in what this site is showing. A wolf in lamb-like clothes. Never have Christians looks so angry, mean, vicious, messed up, and vile. It is disgusting. We are seeing the end of a the Advent movement folks. The third disappointment is about to hit.
Jennifer Arruda will need to be find another way to God. She cannot be allowed to reflect Adventism nor Christianity any longer. She has a diabolical theory that is false on the facts, the theory, the people, and this topic. She is unloving and pharisaic. Her children will be gay.
Jennifer, You have just been blessed for Jesus says, “Blessed are you when people insult you … and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matt 5:11,12 NASB). When David was cursed by Shimei he said, “It may be that the LORD will look on my affliction, and that the LORD will repay me with good for his cursing this day” (2Sam 16:12 NASB).
AMEN!
Felix, you have been banned before for using expletives. We thought we would let you try again but the above post is really foul. If you disagree, try commenting rationally about a point of disagreement and perhaps briefly share from the Bible why you disagree. We will ban you permanently if you cannot behave in a civil manner. If you favor WO can you not see that your spirit is harmful to the pro-WO cause?
I greatly appreciate everything you are doing in educating the church on the topic of woman ordination from a biblical stand point.
It is obvious from some of the negative comments on this site that truth has hit a nerve. And may be inflicting the pain of the Sword of the Spirit.
Ordination Truth,
Thank you for posting the recent presentations from Bakersfield SDA Church. After viewing all of the presentation Jennifer Arruder was the best one of the group. She was honest and sincere and both my wife and I believe her balance presentation took a lot of courage and grace.
Why are so many men pushing the WO movement? Jennifer gave the reason. A note of interest is why so many who support the WO movement as the same ones who are pushing the One Project?
Leadership is in a crisis in our church especially in the NAD. May the vote be NO but that will not solve the problems in our church. We need some hearts trans-plants and I guess only the Lord can do it now. His church will not fail and we need to stay with the Ship!
I especially appreciated the ones by Jennifer Arruda and Laurel Damsteegt. The latter presentation is interesting in part due to the background it provides — a history spanning forty years.
It seems like the “basic transaction” revealed by this history stretches back at least to QOD days — exchanging spiritual truth for expediency and temporal considerations. This kind of dealing may make perfect sense at a rational or secular level, but it’s anathema to anyone who has absorbed the 1888 Message at a heart level. The Lord cannot bless such dealing.
If the No vote prevails three weeks from now, it still seems like there’s a big issue lurking below the surface, not only with the ordination of women, but also with many other areas as well.
I want to thank all of the speakers and this site for accessibility to watch the videos. A special thank you to Laurel and Jennifer. Jennifer, I think you made all Heaven break out in song. Laurel, I took your advice & watched your husband’s video on u tube. His presentation was so wonderful & so very uplifting. I was in desperate need of the lift. I’ve been such a big cry baby over this issue. We are so indebted to all of you. Thanks for being such warriors for God’s truth. I’m sure you all are so exhausted. Hope all of you get some rest & recreation time soon.
If ever there were a reason to change one’s direction in regard to the Women’s Ordination issue it is found in these three statements.
In the future, deception of every kind is to arise, and we want solid ground for our feet. We want solid pillars for the building. Not one pin is to be removed from that which the Lord has established. The enemy will bring in false theories, such as the doctrine that there is no sanctuary. This is one of the points on which there will be a departing from the faith. Where shall we find safety unless it be in the truths that the Lord has been giving for the last fifty years?– Review and Herald, May 25, 1905. {CW 53.2}
“In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light-bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the Word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import, the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. {Ev 119.3}
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19.
We have a job to do, and our focus has been taken off this task. Are we to let the banner of Christ fall to the ground while arguing over these capricious ideas of such worldly origin.
Dear sisters and brethren of the panel discussion, please search in the scripture and in the writings of Ellen White to some questions. Are the precepts and examples in the bible clear orders of God, that an apostle/minister or an elder shall be only men? If we have a clear order of God and disobey it, is this sin or not?
Ty Gibson said (see the article of Engel Yoder) : „Does the Bible mandate male only ordination and/or forbid the ordination of women? If it does, then we are dealing with a clear matter of doctrinal orthodoxy and imperative, in which case the ordination of women would constitute unfaithfulness to Scripture and rebellion against God.“
Could God bless a rebellious, disobedient Church further on if it votes for WO?
And isn´t the whole church responsible for that, what a division or a union of its body ist doing (see the affair with Achan and the quotations of EGW)?
Should we follow the multitudes on the way of evil? If we want to be sealed, should we then not separated from sin and sinners? I hear always, the ship is going through? But what is the ship really? And often I hear: the church does not fall. – Is this church, which EGW mentioned, the Organization of SdA? – When will this happen? And don´t we have before the shaking because of the mark of the beast another mighty sifting-time because of erring teachings? Know we the words saparation and to carry the cross of Christ still in our christian life today? Shall we only follow the bible and Jesus Christ or must we do the will of Satan if the GC-Session votes for WO? What says the bible and EGW about separation?
