It appears that ordinationtruth.com has had some impact. However, I still hear a very rebellious and determined spirit to have their way regardless of the effect it will have on the church at large. I can’t help but wonder if any of those in leadership promoting the WO agenda have asked the people what they want. I couldn’t disagree more with the statement concerning people on both sides having a high view of scripture. So sad.

So I basically got from that article that the NPUC has decided to hold off for now but if the the GC doesn’t vote their way they will go ahead with what they want anyway. To me this is extremely rebellious. It’s saying either we get our way or we will do what we want. What if church members acted this way. This is heart sickening to say the least. Very sad.

Linda, the pro-WO faction has shown that they may go their own way if the 2015 GC session does not approve WO.
But here’s a more difficult question: If the church votes FOR women’s ordination in 2015, what will those against this doctrine do?

John,
It appears it is more important to some–even some deemed leaders–to be the separated CWO (Church of Women’s Ordination) than the united SDA (Seventh-day Adventist Church).
Two spirits are becoming more and more manifest. One is must-have-it-at-all-costs (must have WO), and the other, let us work in harmony with our brethren. Personally, I can tell you where I stand. I plan to respect the decision of the General Conference in 2015, and to be in unity with it.
The spirit that attends this Gleaner article seems a different spirit. As of today, I am much more clear of that. I have been educated. Thank you, Gleaner.

What a poor, poor example of a Union to its members. The “we’re going to do what we want” defiant attitude is clear. This does not show a spirit that is desiring to unite and be part of the world church of SDA’s. That is not at all the feeling that I get when I read this… So the NPUC will support the world church, as long as the church goes along with the WO agenda. And if the GC goes against WO the NPUC has made it clear that they will have a “you can’t make us” attitude and will move to the contrary. This is insubordination. Correct… Truly astonishing…

“The church may appear as about to fall, but it does not fall. It remains, while the sinners in Zion will be sifted out—the chaff separated from the precious wheat. This is a terrible ordeal, but nevertheless it must take place. None but those who have been overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony will be found with the loyal and true, without spot or stain of sin, without guile in their mouths.” — Maranatha, p.32 (The Church will not Fall, January 24)

Yes, the NPUC has “kicked the can” down the road in HOPES the General Conference in session will defy “Thus Saith The Lord” in favor of yet another “lukewarm” compromise.
And what does that mean for this growing coalition???
There is a CHURCH to save out there and simply being the NPUC Remnant Action Committee on Women’s Ordination is simply no longer your mandate… YOU must NOW become the nucleus ACTION COMMITTEE to the world church of Seventh-day Adventists and take the message to the “stockholders in the pews”. The small unit known as the “church” will become the final arbiter in this contest: Laodicea vs Remnant. AND, IF IT DIVIDES THE CHURCH INTO TWO BODIES, SO BE IT!!! Amen and Amen.
We must not be afraid of the outcome here and we must accept the CALL to build a foundation for the Remnant Movement and let each member elect his loyalty based upon the ROCK clearly defined as “THUS SAITH THE LORD”…and they are those who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS!!!
ACCEPT YOUR HIGH CALLING…Take your firm stand NOW or we will spend yet another 40 years in the wilderness!!!
Make this a world-wide effort!!!
