Amen and Amen Pastor Paulson! My prayer has been for unity in God’s Church. I pray for the Holy Spirit to guide those making the final decision regarding WO. We MUST abide by the Bible and the Bible alone. The Bible was inspired by God and is for all times, that is to say it is not specific to any certain culture. God’s Word is forever, never changing, not one jot or one tittle!
A Message For the Brethren, and Greetings unto you All! I want to make it perfectly clear, that I’m not backing down from this “Foreign” Spirit that has “Crept” its way into the “World Church” protesting, under a “Disguised Spirit” of Females being Equal To Males as Senior Pastors in Ordained Ministry!

After watching 3ABN on August 7, 2014 on the program called “Night Light” about Female Ordination.
I have continue to stay abreast of the progress, and the discussions on this foreign, “SPIRIT” that has come into the “World Church” that is unexplainable, and to whom is behind it.
Somehow, I can’t get around what my heart is telling me. That there is a very strong familiar “Spirit” that has come into the “World Church” of Seventh – Day Adventist
So much so, that it reminds me of what is written, in the book of JOB: How, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job1: 6,7
Once again… Gentlemen, and as a”WATCHMAN” For it is written in the Spirit of Prophecy and it says;
The Word of God declares that when it suits the enemy’s purpose, he will through his agencies manifest so great a power under a pretense of Christianity that, “if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” Matt:24:24.-Ms 125, LDE 155.2

As the spirits will profess faith in the Bible and manifest respect for the institutions of the church, their work will be accepted as a manifestation of divine power.

Therefore, Insubordination cannot be allowed to have its way in the “World Church” of Seventh-Day Adventist…
Could it be, CJ Hobbs, that this strong spirit is not the right spirit?

Acts 2:17 says, “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
I write as an exasperated Englishman and an SDA of 50 years’ standing. Is it asking too much for cool heads in this matter—and especially from the pro-WO faction?
Here is my own position. Women as local elders? Why not? If they have occupied lesser offices with credit, enjoy the confidence of the local congregation, then that’s fine by me.
However, with the “ministry”, in its commonly accepted sense, I must reluctantly say No. Question 1 is: do we employ unmarried women in that capacity? The moment she has any male visitors to her home, or is seen in male company, tongues start to wag—and gossip can do more to wreck someone’s reputation than proven wrongdoing. With married women, there is the conflict between her ordination vows and her marriage vows—not to mention(with those of child-bearing age) possible breaks for children to arrive. This would not apply in the case of on who I know personally: Maureen is a deeply committed, deeply spiritual woman who has served as an elder with credit, and I can assure readers that she is more like a caring “big sister”, always ready to listen and help; she is past child-bearing.
Anyway, the sooner this fuss and palaver is past the better!
Thankfully, as a current member of the SDA church, your views do not reflect the views of SO many! If God called a WOMAN to found our church, and she was an ORDAINED female minister, then there is no argument about God’s calling on all genders. If it was good enough for God to model that inclusion to us, it’s good enough for our church!
